Posting your business phone number — in html — at or near the top of all pages on your website is an added advantage for cellphone users: they can simply hover the cursor over your telephone number, and a prompt will appear, asking them if they would like to call your number (no dialing needed).

People with smartphones are beginning to expect to be able to access your website when they are on the move, so posting your business phone number in a prominent place that can be easily spotted (in html, not in jpg, png, or gif format) makes good business sense.
